Nonlinear phenomena in multimode fibers
Modeling of nonlinear propagation in multimode fibers - influence of fiber parameter on nonlinear phenomena. Investigation of multimode solitons and frequency conversion. The project is financed by the National Science Centre, Poland.
Main tasks:
- Perform the linear simulations in multimode fibers (modeling fiber designs appropriate for multimode soliton propagation)
- Perform nonlinear simulation using MMGNLSE and UPPE model
- Verifying possibility of using deep learning methods to classify modes propagating through multimode fibers, model nonlinear propagation and analyze experimental data
- Preparing posters for conferences, scientifics reports and papers
